In open-plan offices, the lighting must satisfy the various different requirements for vision and reading quality of the people who work within them. The lighting can also improve the work environment using changes in brightness that imitate daylight. Furthermore, it should be able to automatically adapt as the occupancy of the individual workspaces changes. The ability to individually control the light groups ensures the lighting adapts in an elegant and energy-efficient manner.
Solution
Adaptive HCL light control with SymbiLogic and swarm function
The COMPACT APC30 HCL DALI-2 presence detector can be used to implement Human Centric Lighting that imitates daylight and thus improves employee wellbeing, motivation and health. At the same time, the presence- and daylight-dependent HCL light control offered by ESYLUX SymbiLogic technology ensures energy-efficient implementation.
The swarm function maintains a pleasant atmosphere within the room, even when there is no or very little daylight coming in, for example outside of working hours. As long as someone is still present, this function makes sure there is pleasant basic lighting, set to an energy-efficient dimmed level, in all unoccupied areas.
